Pre-Test Guidelines

  • 1

    Standard Fasting (10-12 Hours)

An empty stomach is strictly required for metabolic and blood panels like Fasting Blood Sugar, Lipid Profiles, LFT, and KFT. Water is permitted.

  • 2

    Ultrasound Preparation (Full Bladder)

For whole abdomen and pelvic ultrasound scans, patients are advised to drink plenty of water 1 hour prior to slots to maintain a full bladder.

  • 3

    Emergency Exceptions

Critical metrics including emergency Troponin testing, ICU blood markers, and digital trauma X-Rays require zero preparation and run immediately 24/7.
